Join us for an unforgettable, small-group adventure in the Bay of La Paz—consistently rated 5 stars on TripAdvisor for our personalized service, expert guidance, and respectful wildlife encounters.

We’ll meet at Marina La Costa, just 5 minutes from the malecón. After a warm welcome and a short safety briefing, you'll gear up with your swimsuit and snorkel, then board our comfortable boat. The tour may be shared with other guests, but we never exceed 10 people, ensuring a personal and relaxed experience.

After about 7 minutes of navigation, we’ll arrive at the entry point of the whale shark observation zone, where a quick visual inspection is performed by park rangers—fast and straightforward, as part of local conservation protocols.

From there, your adventure begins. You’ll have up to 2 hours on the water to search for and swim alongside juvenile whale sharks, who gather here each winter to feed on plankton. Because of this dense plankton bloom, the water can sometimes appear murky rather than turquoise—but don’t worry, we usually get very close to the animals, making the experience just as impressive. Some days the visibility is excellent, and on other days it may be more limited—that’s the nature of a true wild encounter.

This experience runs from late October to April, during the seasonal arrival of whale sharks to La Paz. We strictly follow all marine park regulations and work with licensed, certified guides to ensure both safety and respectful interaction with the animals.
